| Biography

Fireseed Catering was created shortly after Dave and Dawn Noble moved to South Whidbey Island. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1996, Dave and Dawn moved to Chicago for a three year stint in corporate dining. In 1999 they moved to Wisconsin and opened their own restaurant. In 2003 they discovered Washington state and returned home just long enough to sell the house, business, and car.
Since 2003 Dave and Dawn as Fireseed Catering have been involved in more than 30 weddings a year. Fireseed's Gardens and indoor venue have hosted over 100 of those weddings since its creation.
"On Whidbey Island our role as caterer has expanded to also assist in event coordinating. We understand that some people come to us because they also need help planning for their big day. It is for this reason that we view our job as more than just a caterer, we are your connection to the wedding business. We will not only create a unique dinner menu for you but we will also work through your event timing, coordinate your rentals, and discuss other amenities such as florists, photographers, accomodations, etc..."
Since Fireseed Catering was founded, Dawn has renewed her skills as an accomplished Pastry Chef. Dawn shows off her skills with creative chocolate work, tasteful wedding cakes and local berry pies. Dave spends most days creating original dishes with a Pacific Northwest sensibility. Fireseed can not only produce a vareity of menues but can also serve them in a variety of ways. Whether the meal is plated, family style, served European style, buffet or all hors d'oeuvres, Dave and Dawn shine with food and tables that overflow with variety, color and most of all flavor.
